S&K has the following C+E, LGV, HGV Class 1 Lorry driver positions available;
UK Tramping driver,
UK operations are 3/4 nights out per week, delivering general cargo in curtainsided trailers from South Wales all over mainland UK,
Benelux driver,
C+E Class 1 driver for regular deliveries from South Wales to various Benelux countries, average 4/5 nights out per week, but home on weekends if desired.
European tramping driver,
International work from all over the UK to all across mainland Europe, carrying general goods in curtainsided trailers, operations are 2/3 weeks away,
C+E Liquid & Gas Tanker Driver
Based from Barry, C+E Class 1 Driver with tanker ADR to work within the UK and possible occasional trips to Europe. There will be nights out, an average of 3 to 4 per week.
The job is to operate gas tankers and ISO tanks with various products some being hazardous. Training provided on products.
For all the above driving vacancies, candidates should hold a UK C+E HGV licence, CPC and ideally 2 years’ experience within the road haulage industry.
HGV Mechanic
Skilled or Semi-skilled HGV Technicians to work on our large fleet of Volvo Trucks,
Time served preferred with experience of working on various HGVs but on the job training can be accommodated for the right candidate.
Duties to include;
Servicing, Repairs on fleet vehicles, MOT preparation, fault diagnosis on electrical and air systems,
40 Hours + overtime including working on Saturday mornings,
Wages negotiable commensurate with skills and enthusiasm.
