Barry Storage & Distribution have worked in the storage of goods in all forms since the early 1970’s.
Back in 1971, BSD utilised the vacant dockside warehouses and had the capacity of storing shipped goods from all over the world, working with the S&K Haulage’s transportation division it made the one stop shop in collecting, storing then redistribution to a huge armada of customers and to this day this is still the case.
In 1984, S&K moved to new premises on David Davies Road, where the operation still exists today. One of the first things that Neil Kidby the MD did was build extra warehouses on site which have been busy to this current day.
In 2016, BSD made an acquisition of the adjacent land and buildings in an expansion program for the extra demand in increased warehousing. Within months the building was completely refurbished and transformed into a purpose built operation to include two dedicated loading docks and multi storage bays for segregation.
BSD also offers a picking & sorting operation for its customers and a pallet wrap facility with the Lantec automatic wrap system.
